Welcome back to Alert Level 1... everyone!

Now that Auckland has joined the rest of the nation on Alert Level 1, we thought we’d let you know again just how we’re running things and how safe a trip our dental clinic really is.

The good news is that Kowhai Dental will operate more or less normally during Alert Level 1. However, there are a few restrictions and procedures in place that will affect the services we provide:

Firstly, our team will still be asking COVID-19-related questions. For example, we need to know about your recent travel history, and check if you're having any flu-like symptoms. If you've recently travelled to a high-risk area or are feeling unwell, your appointment may be postponed as our office is not equipped with the surgical theatre provisions needed to treat high-risk patients. Secondly, if you're over 70 years old or are health-compromised, the New Zealand Dental Council recommends that we postpone any elective treatment until all Alert Level restrictions are removed.

We understand that this is an inconvenience, but we all must do our part to protect our little nation.
