Much like you, we are closely monitoring the current COVID-19 situation. One of our main priorities as health care providers is keeping our community healthy during this time.

With today’s announcement from our Prime Minister regarding our upgrade to Level 3 with Level 4 being introduced on Wednesday, along with the Dental Council of New Zealand recommending that dental clinics “limit non-emergency services,” we have very carefully weighed the pros and cons of keeping our dental clinics open versus closing altogether. At this time, we have decided the pros of offering you and all our patients emergency dental treatment, which will definitely improve your overall health and build immunities, is of great and vital benefit to you.

We truly believe that keeping our doors open and offering emergency dental services will help our patients maintain their health and, quite literally, be more resistant to illnesses, which is of extreme value to our community at this critical time. The public hospital system, as we all know, is overwhelmed; and closing our doors will only increase the burden on the medical system, along with causing unnecessary exposure to you if you’re forced to sit in the Emergency Department with dental related issues along with dozens of others who may be suffering with multiple contagious diseases.

It is our ethical duty to work together to ensure that our patients view our dental clinic as a safe place to be, where their health and welfare can be enhanced, not put at risk. In many circles of organised public health care, this all presents a critical opportunity to serve and educate our worried patients and to care for new patients whose own practices may have closed down and left them in great need of our help.

WE WILL OPEN FOR EMERGENCY DENTAL TREATMENT WITH LIMITED HOURS AS YET TO BE DETERMINED.
